Grell Bushelle

 

Grell Bushelle was born in 1938 in Barbados. He attended St. Matthew's Boys and Combermere Schools. In September 1955, he immigrated to the USA at age seventeen. Graduating from George Washington High School in New York City, Grell enlisted in the U.S. Navy where he served as a radio telegrapher. After leaving the Navy, he joined the U.S. Department of State where he served in the U.S. Foreign Service. His many overseas assignments took him to South and Central America, India, Europe, The Caribbean and Africa.  He spent the last four years of his career "on the road" with the Secretary of State's Traveling Communications Team.  After 33 years of Federal Government service, Grell retired in January 1995 and now lives in Florida.
