Anoush Hope-Fischer

Anoush Hope-Fischer was born and grew up on the island of Barbados. Yesterday Was A Woman was her first novel and she received a Special Prize of Commendation from the Frank Collymore Literary Endowment of Barbados at the 10th anniversary awards in 2008. She holds a BA in Sociology and History and an MA in Special Education. She is a university lecturer in Germany, where she lives with her German husband and daughter.
